Free publishing utility

Turn a real recipe into clear, copy-ready markup.

Fill in the details that appear on your recipe page. This tool builds Recipe JSON-LD locally in your browser—nothing is uploaded or stored.

1 · Add visible recipe details

Start with the dish and its image.

Honest markup check

Describe what readers can actually find.

Required here: a dish name and a crawlable image URL. Google lists both as required Recipe properties.

Only mark up recipes: use this for instructions that prepare a particular dish, not for non-recipe ideas or unrelated pages.

No invented ratings: this generator deliberately leaves out reviews and ratings. Add them only when they are real and visible on the recipe page.

Before publishing

Validate, then let search systems recrawl.

Use Google's Rich Results Test to catch code errors. A valid result does not guarantee a rich result, ranking, traffic, or income.

Keep the page publicly accessible to Google and make sure the structured data matches the recipe readers see. This browser tool formats markup; it does not publish it to your CMS or confirm platform compliance.
