UPS says its retail-rate divisor is 166. Use the service's current rules and quote to confirm eligibility and price.
The selected profiles use whole-inch measurements. This check rounds each entered dimension to the nearest inch, then rounds calculated dimensional weight up to a whole pound.

Use the carrier's final quote.
For UPS, this tool calculates length × width × height, divides the result by the selected divisor, and rounds the dimensional result up. UPS lists divisors of 139 for Daily Rates and 166 for Retail Rates.
For the USPS Zones 1–9 profile, it first checks whether the rounded rectangular volume exceeds 1,728 cubic inches. The USPS says dimensional price can apply above that threshold for listed domestic services; the calculator then uses its stated 166 divisor and compares the result with actual weight.
