One chart, one cut

Count the space before the first stitch.

The planner converts the fabric count and your “over one” or “over two” choice into an effective stitch count. It then finds whole stitchable squares on the fabric and splits the unused squares between opposite sides. When an odd number remains, one side will have one more square.

Use the output as a placement note for the actual fabric and chart in front of you. Check the edge, selvage, stitched border, and any frame opening before cutting or marking the fabric.

This planner does not choose fabric, decide a border allowance, verify an over-two technique, account for fabric shrinkage or distortion, select floss or needle, interpret a pattern, guarantee frame fit, or replace a physical count. It only centers the grid measurements you enter.
