How to use it

Gross sales can make a weak event look busy.

Start with contribution per item. This is price minus what it costs to make the item and the payment fee. If it is zero or negative, selling more units cannot cover your booth fee.

Break-even is the floor. It tells you the minimum sale count that only recovers the cost of being there. It does not pay you for driving, setup, selling, or packing up.

Use the paid-yourself target for decisions. Compare that unit goal with your past sales, event footfall, and your product mix before committing to the booth.

Estimate, not a promise

Use actual costs and keep your own records.

This calculator keeps all inputs in your browser. It does not know the event's footfall, your tax obligations, refunds, cash mix, or whether customers will buy. Update card fees, costs, and sales assumptions to match your specific market.

It is a planning tool, not tax, legal, financial, or earnings advice. A positive estimate does not guarantee profit or income.
