Start with the coffee
or the water.
Set the coffee-to-water ratio you want to try, enter the amount already decided, and get one clear weight for the other side.

A weight, not a promise
One ratio makes repeatable measuring easier.
A 1:16 ratio means 1 gram of coffee for every 16 grams of water. If you know the water weight, divide by the ratio for the coffee weight. If you know the coffee weight, multiply by the ratio for the water weight. This page keeps both inputs in grams so the relationship stays transparent.
Ratio is only one brewing variable. This tool does not set a brew method, water temperature, grind size, brew time, extraction, caffeine amount, serving size, freshness, food safety, or taste result. Use your brewer's instructions and adjust from your own tasting notes.
