Area is a starting point
Keep the depth comparable, then bake by the recipe's cues.
The multiplier is your total target pan area divided by the recipe pan area. For a round pan, this page uses π × radius². For a square or rectangle, it uses length × width. The same unit must be used for both pan setups; the ratio itself has no unit.
Pan depth, material, wall shape, batter type, fill level, oven behaviour, and recipe method can change the outcome. This tool does not convert temperatures, predict baking times, check food safety, or guarantee that batter will fit. Check the recipe's doneness cues and your pan's usable depth.
